Soliloquy.

A meditative painting, created during the pandemic, mostly in grey, a duff tan colour for a canvas or door on the left. The yellow-green figure sits in a blue chair, alone, as if lit from within – he might say something – soliloquise. I think the painting is about being alone, the more formed shapes on the left contrast with amorphous spaces on the right. High up, top right is a guiding star shape.
