A regular feature of the pandemic was an evening gathering in front of the TV to get the latest news on the battle with the virus. Whilst this painting started off as a studio picture it came to resemble for me an image of a speaker addressing an audience through the TV. What interested me most in this painting was playing with scale and the relationship between the different elements in the space.
